We welcome community members to join Murdoch University Library.

Joining the Library

Visit the Library Information Desk to join. Please remember to bring personal identification.

Community memberships cost $99 each year.

Concessional rates are available to the following groups and organisations (please bring documentary evidence of your organisational membership to complete your application):

Residents of St Ives Murdoch Free Proof of residence
Eligible concession card holders $33 Current concession card, for example: health care, pension, disability or carer's card.
Tabor Adelaide (Perth Campus only) $33 Present student ID and proof of current enrolment


You can borrow 30 items for 6 weeks as a community member (see Borrowing for more details).

Database access

You can use most of the Library’s databases and online journals when you visit the Library (no external access available).

Four public access computers are located in the Geoffrey Bolton Library Learning Common, North Wing Level 3. Please see the IT Service Desk to login for these computers.
