Of these top ten factors in which we are doing well, six are really important to you. These are highlighted.

You told us how we can improve.

  1. You would like a computer available when you need one.
  2. You would like to find the items you are looking for.
  3. You’d like a quiet place to study.
  4. You would like more laptop facilities.

This is what we have initiated to address your feedback.

  1. We have changed access to the four public PCs to one hour per session so that as many as possible have access.
  2. We are implementing a system to advise you where available PCs are located.
  3. We have improved shelving and signage to make sure items are in the correct place and easy to find.
  4. We have moved additional study carrels to the quiet zones in the Library.
  5. We have installed extra powerpoints and bench space for laptops at South Street, and there are additional spaces at Rockingham and Peel campus Libraries for laptops.

Additional issue at the Peel Campus Library:

Wireless access at the Peel Campus Library was identified as a significant issue and we are investigating ways to address this feedback.
