Document Delivery

You can request items that are not available at Murdoch University Library, or via ArticleReach or BONUS+. This service is available to:

  • Murdoch University academic staff
  • Graduate research and honours students
  • other staff with their supervisor's permission.

Before placing a request

  1. Check Findit or the Library Catalogue to ensure the Library does not hold the item.
  2. For books, check BONUS+.
  3. For journal articles, check ArticleReach.
  4. For theses, check if it is available online: Finding Non-Murdoch Theses

How to place a request

If you are unable to locate the item, follow these steps below.

  1. Login to Libraries Australia and search for the item.
  2. Select ‘Get this item’.
  3. Select 'Loan' or 'Copy' and complete the form.

If you cannot find your item in Libraries Australia, submit a Request via Document Delivery.

What does it cost?

There are no charges for document delivery requests. However, theses or large requests may require payment.

How long will it take?

Delivery times depend on the nature of the item, its location and availability. Contact the Library for an update on the status of requests.

You will be notified by email when the item is available.
