Requesting

Request items out on loan or located at a different campus through the Library Catalogue.

How to request items

To request an item:

  1. Use the Library Catalogue to search for the item.
  2. Click the "Request" button at the top or bottom of the screen.
  3. Enter your Username and Password.
  4. Choose a pickup location from the dropdown menu.
  5. Click on "Submit".
  6. Click on "Request selected item" (and you may need to select the copy to be recalled).

You will receive an email when the item is available.

Collect your requests from the Hold Shelf within 5 days of receiving the notification email.

Requesting 'In Store' or Special Collection items

Use the form below to request 'In Store' or Special Collection items:

Request access

Click 'In store - Request' in the Status column to access the form directly from the item record.

Requesting items from other university libraries

Use Bonus+ or ArticleReach to access books and articles from other participating university libraries.

Academic staff members, graduate researchers and honours students may access additional Document Delivery services.

Requesting services for External Students

External student can request copies of journal articles and book chapters. See External students services for details.
