Fair Dealing for access by persons with a disability

The Copyright Act allows persons with a disability, and the people and organisations supporting them, to copy and communicate third party copyright materials in the format(s) and with the specific features that are required by the individual (sections 113E and 113F).

No marking, registration, or payment is required under these sections.

How much may be copied?

A whole work may be copied for a student with a disability, providing that it is not commercially available in the format(s) and with the specific features required.
