Corporate membership
Murdoch University Library corporate membership
Organisations and businesses including commercial tenants of Murdoch University are eligible to join the Library and gain access to the information resources of the Library.
Three membership cards will be issued for use by nominated members of your staff at any one time for an annual cost of $250.00. Employees are able to borrow up to 8 items at a time.
Join Murdoch University Library, or just visit us, to study from our collections on our South Street Campus. You will have acess to one of the most modern, comprehensive University Libraries in Western Australia. We will make you most welcome while we help you to find the information you need.
All corporate members are welcome to visit and read in the Library. You can also:
- use our reference services
- use computers in the Library to access some of our online databases, (where licensing permits)
- use computers in the Library for word processing
- make photocopies, including colour and transparencies
How to join the Library
Complete a membership application and bring it with your current corporate and personal identification to the Murdoch University Library at South Street.
How do I find Information Resources?
You can search the Library from this website. In the Findit search box just type in the author, title or keywords and you will be able to find the location of any book held by Murdoch University Library.
Using databases and online journals
You can use most of the Library's databases and online journals when you visit the Library. However, they cannot be accessed if you are not in the Library.
Who do I ask?
All Library staff are happy and willing to assist you with any enquiries. To save time though, for research information ask at the Reference Desk. For directional and loan information ask at the Enquiry and Loans Desk.
If you're off campus you can phone or email reference librarians or enquiries staff.
Borrowing
To borrow Library resources you will need your membership card. For fast loans use the Self Check machine. Ask a Library staff member to show you how or alternatively borrow from the Enquiry and Loans Desk. As a Corporate member you may borrow 8 items for a period of 4 weeks (unless recalled).
