Computer access
Computers are available for students and staff in the Learning Common and other areas of the campus libraries. Login using your Murdoch Username and Password for full access to all resources. All computers are PCs, running Windows XP.
The computers in the Learning Common at South St Campus Library Link Level 2 are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for all Murdoch staff and students.
Fast Track computers
Fast Track computers are located in the South St Campus Library Learning Common North Wing Level 3 and at the entry of each level in the South Wing. You do not need to login to these computers.
You can access Murdoch sites only on these machines, making them perfect for quickly finding materials in our libraries.
You cannot access other external websites on the Fast Track computers.
Community access computers
Four community access computers are located in the South St Campus Library Learning Common North Wing Level 3, adjacent to the Reference desk. In order to get a login for these computers, please see the IT Service Counter on level two.
Access is valid for one hour only. There is no charge for this service to the community.
Printing
All computers allow printing, which you can pay for using the printing account on your student, staff or community access card.
Headphones
If you do not have your own, you can buy headphones from the Enquiry and Loans Desk for $1, for listening to lectures in the library.
Wireless
Wireless access is available to Murdoch staff and students in the South Street, Rockingham and Peel Campuses.

Off campus access
Most library resources are available off campus to Murdoch University staff and students. If you are having problems with off campus access, check help connecting to databases, or contact our Ask a Librarian Service.
