Offshore students
Murdoch University students studying at our International Study Centres are entitled to use most of the Library's electronic resources and services.
Library services are often provided by our offshore partners, so contact your course coordinator to see if arrangements are already in place with a local library near you.
External students living overseas should refer to External and OUA student services.
Finding information
You can use most of the Library's online resources such as Findit, databases, journals, reference works and e-books. You cannot borrow books from the Library.

Restricted databases
A small number of databases are not available for access outside Australia. If a database is not available to you, you will see the following message when you try to access it:

Sorry, this page is not available to you. Please contact a library staff member for alternative resources.
Connection problems
If you have trouble accessing Findit, online journals or databases that are not restricted to Australian users, try the steps outlined on our connection help page.

Requesting articles and book chapters
Many journal articles and ebooks are available to you online using Findit.
If an article is only available at the Library in print, you can request a copy. We cannot send books to you, but we can send copies of book chapters to you.
All document requests must comply with copyright restrictions.
If you are a postgraduate student you may also request copies of book chapters and journal articles from other libraries using our document delivery service.
